ANJALI WORLD JOINS KIMBERLY MOORE FOR A SURPRISE VISIT TO BELL GARDEN'S HIGH 6 YRS LATER AFTER A
On June 18th 2014, Kimberly Moore and Grissel Luna made a surprise visit to the music department at Bell Gardens High School and watch the students perform using the very same instruments collected by the Keeping Harmony Alive program in 2008. Moore was inspired to talk to the kids and introduce her surprise celebrity ambassador - Pop/R&B singer Anjali who just released her new single "We Turn Up" featuring French Montana. Ajali also gave an inspiring speech and handed out t-shirts to all the students.
See a clip below of Bell Garden H.S. practicing in the auditorium for graduation day held at East Los Angeles College. Special thanks to Mayor Daniel Crespo and Yvonne Elmasri of Pynk Celebrity who also came to support us that day!
Keeping Harmony Alive is a program under the Kimberly Moore Foundation dedicated to saving music in inner-city schools one at a time. Today Grissel Luna is 22 yrs old and working as a music engineer for a Grammy winning artist!
