ADOPT A LETTER CHILDREN VISIT BEACH FOR THE VERY FIRST TIME! FEATURED ON BELGIUM TV!
This spring and summer the the Kimberly Moore Foundation is making more dreams come true! Who says it has to be Christmas to receive gifts from Santa?
We recently learned that many of our Adopt A Letter recipients have never been more than a 15-20 mile radius of their own home.... which means many of our children have NEVER been to the beach!!! We decided to surprise them and take them to a private beautiful beach in Laguna for a day of fun and laughs! Special thanks to one of our ongoing supporters and long time resident of Laguna Beach, Mike Muna!
Adopt A Letter kids got to swim, play beach games, large frisbee, ping pong, climb rocks and much more.
Through out the years, Baroness Kimberly Moore has been mentoring and supporting over 2 dozen young teens on her own. Many of these young teens have been appointed "Hope Ambassadors" who are now paying it forward and becoming leaders of positive change in her own community. They will be featured in a new television documentary series for Belgium television re: The Kimberly Moore Foundation’s -Adopt A Letter program, charity in America and how the economic crisis affected some of our families in the community.
The Kimberly Moore Foundation “Hope Ambassadors” got to participate and distribute gifts to other children in need through out the week and take some of the families on a shopping spree.
The program ended with a day of celebration on the beach! This was a great day and I am sure the Adopt A Letter kids will never forget. Moore plans to host an annual "Day at the Beach" with her Adopt A Letter kids!
