KIMBERLY MOORE
Baroness Kimberly Moore is an active entrepreneur from New York City and Goodwill Ambassador to the United States, best known for using her creative energy in raising funds and awareness for a variety of industries around the world. She has been successful in bringing together highly influential people from around the world in private gatherings to collaborate on business opportunities on a global scale and founded The Echelon Club in 2005, a membership-based lifestyle organization in Los Angeles comprised of influential people from around the world who want to make a difference and create a better future in the world today.
Inspired by her influential members and using Echelon as a platform for change, she founded "The Kimberly Moore Foundation" and created a great number of programs and campaigns well recognized in the media, benefiting children and families in her own communities. She is the founder of the “Adopt-A-Letter” program which has adopted the wishes of over 40,000 underprivileged children and is also the Founder of “Keeping Harmony Alive” program dedicated to securing music programs in public schools due to insufficient government funding. Moore was successful in securing the music program at Bell Gardens H.S. for the next 15-20 years by supplying enough instruments to keep their program afloat.
Ms. Moore experiences vary from building educational programs for children, coordinating concerts for young musicians to organizing a great number of events for some of the world’s most influential leaders. She has raised awareness and proceeds for a variety of causes to include: Sir Richard Branson (Virgin Unite Fund), Duchess of York (Sara Ferguson Foundation), Proposition 2, Brave Kids, 911 Relief Fund, Whole Child LA and many more. “On her spare time, Moore also does some volunteer work for “Pediatric AIDS Foundation”, mentorship program with “Children Uniting Nation” and has worked 3 years with wild animals such as; abandoned lions, tigers and chimpanzees rescued from the space programs.
Since the formation of The Echelon Club, Ms. Moore has received several honors and recognitions for her charitable initiatives. In August 2008, she was officially honored at Bell Gardens City Hall Auditorium by the Mayor and Chief of Police for her invaluable service, dedication and outstanding contribution to the children in the community. Shortly after, she was inaugurated and awarded title of honor, a “Lady of Peace Making” medal from HRH Arkady Bugaev for granting the wishes of thousands of children in need. She won the “Humanitarian Award” at the 2008 “Hollywood Music Awards” for securing music programs in public schools and in April of 2009, Moore was recognized by Americorp for her volunteer work in the community. She was recently awarded an “Order of Royal Crown” a golden medal prepared by the International Royal Courts for her outstanding achievements in philanthropy.
In October 2009, Baroness Kimberly Moore was appointed by President Malam Bacai Sanha of the Republic of Guinea Bissau, West Africa and named the first Goodwill Ambassador to the United States of America. Moore was granted full power of attorney to execute activities on behalf of the Presidential Office and interests of the state and afforded all relevant signatory powers to carry out duties sanctioned by the office.
Ms. Moore was also chosen as Peace Ambassador in 2010 for Music 4 Peace/World Gandhi Tour promoting world peace through the universal language of music along with other influential renowned leaders such as Dalai Llama, Arun Gandhi and others, founded by Tobias Huber.
On April 2013, Baroness Kimberly Moore was awarded the “Key to the City” in a standing room ceremony at the city of Bell Gardens for impacting the lives of over 25,000 children and activating the community to work together to create change through her Adopt A Letter and Hope Ambassador program. Shortly after, Moore was awarded by the California State Legislature for her outstanding dedication to the children in the community and given the Humanitarian Leadership award by the Southern California Hispanic Chamber of Commerce for her compassion and dedication. On December 2014, Moore was a recent honoree at the 16th Annual Women's Image Network Award show for her humanitarian work. Other past WIN Award recipients include: Angelina Jolie, Senator Barbara Boxer, Elizabeth Taylor, Ambassador Swanee Hunt, Meryl Streep, Hellen Mirren and more.
In June 2015, Moore introduced her Adopt A Country program and went to El Salvador, known as one of the most dangerous countries in the world to learn the needs of those living in extreme poverty and work with NGO's on the ground to help create sustainable programs targeting medical. health, education, agriculture and clean drinking water. In September 2015, Moore was honored with another 2 Keys to the City in Panchimalco and Aguileres, El Salvador. Moore was also honored with 2 more Keys to the City upon her return in El Salvador after the opening of 5 Kimberly Moore Foundation Learning Centers. Moore was also recognized by Los Angeles Mayor Eric Garcetti for her mentoring and leadership working with the Baron Jay Family Foundation for summer school programs, awarded the Arwey Award at Womens Economic Forum and the L.O.O.P. Award for Leaders Overcoming Obstacles for Peace by NDHope at Regis University with Dr. Jerry Brown, TIME Magazine Person of the Year.
